Welcome Autumn 🍁

 The weather has changed and I'm loving the cooler temperatures in the morning and evening. The leaves have already started falling, due to the extreme heat and dryness of this summer, so even though I'm a couple days early, Happy Autumn!
In the last couple days I've made several pots of soup and tonight I made stuffing for dinner... I'm glad soup is back on the menu. It's been too hot to even think about sitting down to a steaming bowl of anything, but now that's it's beginning to cool off, soup actually sounds good.
As I've said before, I love soup. It's easy, usually cheap, fast, and super healthy. Soup is pretty forgiving too, in the sense of not needing to follow a recipe for it to turn out. I pretty much never do actually, and I love the freedom and flexibility of it. I have my favorites though, that I make often, and I am surprised at how much my kids love soup too. I can get them to eat almost anything if it's in soup; they don't even notice stuff like zucchini or spinach or mushrooms. And if they do they usually say something like," oh I thought I didn't like___, but this is good!"
So go make some soup and celebrate Autumn with us!πŸ˜ŠπŸ‚πŸ
P.S. Leftover soup also makes a quick, healthy breakfast. Easiest way to eat veggies for breakfast!

Updated Supplement Protocol

This is my current protocol of supplements we are using to support my body in healing my gut, hormones, and overall health. I am posting this partly to document my progress, and also to share what is working for me,  and to maybe give people ideas to ask their doctor about. Do not just start taking any supplement without working with a trained practitioner. There are too many personal and varying factors to navigate the world of supplements and vitamins alone. I saw my Naturopath last week, and we went over my symptoms and adjusted my supplements and added in a couple new things. This protein shake is one of the new additions to my treatment plan. OptiCleanse GHI is a protein powder supplement that we are using to support healing my gut, specifically leaky gut, and also support liver detox. It tastes quite good actually, which I was ver
